YVEA’s MUTTON BUSTIN’

Entry Fee: $10. Welcome to the world of Mutton Bus- tin’, also known as wool riding. This event is a version of Bronc Riding, transformed into a children’s rodeo event when kids try to ride a sheep for up to 6 seconds. Mutton Bustin’ is open to kids between the ages of 4-8 years old who are 70 pounds or less. Space is limited to the first riders that sign up and pay the $10 entry fee. Your spot is not reserved until a parent or legal guardian signs the waiver and pays the entry fee. Participants must sign up in person at the Fair Office during the week of fair.
Entries close when full or Friday at noon. Participants and at least one parent must show up at the west end of the grandstands on the track no later than 10:45am. Gear, including a protective vest and a helmet with face guard, are provided.
